William HEFFNER Obituary
HEFFNER
William Bennett Heffner Jr., passed away suddenly and peacefully in his sleep December 3, 2014 at the age of 63. He was the proud son of William Bennett Heffner, Sr. and the late Janet Pease Heffner. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Laurie Jo Lanz Heffner and his cherished son and best friend, George Bennett Heffner, wife Jennifer (Hoeweler) Heffner, and the lights of his life, granddaughters Macy Elizabeth McNabb and Harlow Ann Heffner, all of Terrace Park. Also surviving are his dear sisters, his twin Susan Heffner Monnier (Chuck), Basel, Switzerland, sons Philippe Monnier, Zurich and Christophe Monnier, Fribourg; and, Nancy Heffner Donovan (Steve), daughter Katie Donovan, Boston; his faithful cousin and friend David H. Pease, III (Lisa), children David, IV, Fletcher, Henry, Elizabeth; and, a host of family and devoted friends. Bill graduated from the Gow School in South Wales, NY and Ashland University. Bill was a member of Phi Kappa Psi, Milford Gun Club, Terrace Park Country Club, past board member of Beech Acres and past president of The Cincinnati Gyro Club. There will be an Open House Reception in honor of Bill's life on Saturday, December 13, 2014, 11 AM - 2 PM, Queen City Club, 331 E. 4th Street. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be directed to The Cincinnati Gyro Club Foundation, 5303 Lester Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45213 or the Terrace Park Volunteer Emergency Services, 428 Elm Ave., Terrace Park, OH 45174. Laurie & George, On Sunday, December 30 Bill invited my college son Albert and myself to shoot with him on field 1 at MGC. He was so fun to be with and we really enjoy his uplift that sunny afternoon. We think this is a great lasting memory of Bill. It was a happy time!
I will really miss Bill stopping by my office for conversation from time to time where we solved many problems of the world.

The loss of a cousin compresses the time and distances between us into an insignificant distance-my cousin Bill's laugh, voice and pleasant demeanor resonate in my thoughts now as always. He was especially appreciated by my dad Hank, who enjoyed his coming into the family business in ways that I often felt compensated for my taking another path in life that led further afield. He is loved and will be missed by all of us in the family. My condolences to family and friends whose lives Bill brightened by his days spent among us.

A dear friend. My closest friend and fraternity brother during our college years, we did everything together. Bill was a kind and thoughtful person, my favorite story is when he went out of his way while traveling on Business for his beloved Grand father's company "The Pease door Co" to visit with my mother and fix her front door,who better than the "Pease Door" guy?
That's the kind of guy he was and he will forever be in my thoughts.After many years of losing touch, we recently talk over the phone ,he was so proud of his family and couldn't stop talking about his wife and especially his son.
You will be missed my friend.

To the Family of my dear old friend and fraternity brother Bill Heffner "Heff" as we affectionately called him was a fabulous friend, wonderful caring man and a terrific person. We met and were friends at Ashland University at Phi Kappa Psi, and I am greatly disturbed to hear of his untimely passing. My memories of Bill are so strong and vivid, as he was one of my favorite brothers and our friendship was one I will treasure always. I may not have seen him frequently, but the brotherly love and zest for life were always omnipresent. I will miss my dear old friend.
