Columbus Christopher David Hatfield, 30, passed away May 10, 2023.

Christopher was born May 19, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio. He grew up in Circleville, Ohio in a loving community, as well as on ballfields, back yards, creeks, ponds, farms and the woods of his grandparents, family, and friends.

Chris had a love for cars. Through guidance of one of his dearest friends, he obtained his CDL's and, most recently, worked for UPS. Chris was extremely proud and excited of the steps and direction he was taking in his life.

A friend to all and a stranger to no one. The life of the party is an understatement because his life WAS a party. He lived his everlasting moment to the fullest as a Buckeye fanatic, pizza connoisseur, mascot of silly rowdiness. Simply existing colorfully, noisily, and full of LOVE, living his life in his own individual free-spirited manner made him an amazing friend, wonderful brother, and incredible son.

His heart of gold radiated through his presence, effortlessly everywhere he went with his every breath and goofy stories he shared. His energy was contagious and his swagger unforgettable. If you met him once, you would never forget him and if you had the privilege of knowing him deeply, he has pleasantly marked your heart, not as a scar but as a silly tattoo.

Christopher is survived by his best friends, Clark Griswold Hatfield & Bixby Hatfield; brothers, Joshua Hatfield & Nicholas Hatfield; father, Paul Hatfield; mother, Vanise Doles; stepfather, David Doles & stepbrother, Clay Doles.

We are celebrating Christopher's life on Tuesday, May 23 at Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 N. Court Street, Circleville, Ohio from 4:00 - 7:00, with a short memorial service after.
