Christopher Runkle Obituary

Christopher James Runkle, age 31, of Canal Winchester, passed away on Nov. 1, 2017, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Chris was a graduate of Teays Valley, Class of 2004, and was member of Prominent Rendition show choir from 2000-2003. He had attended Otterbein College, and was an Eagle Scout. Survived by parents Michael and Cindy (Jones) Runkle; sisters Tina Gunn of Canal Winchester and Heather (Albert) Havranek, Fresno, OH; brothers Michael Runkle Jr., of Hilliard, and Nicholas Runkle, of Seal Beach, CA; nieces Millia, Maya, and Marlie; nephews Tyler, Dustin, Albert and Elliot; aunts, uncles and many friends. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 8, 2017, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville. Service in Memory Thurs., Nov. 9th, at 11 a.m., at Village Chapel Church, 30 Viking Way, Ashville, with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating. Family request in lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to: Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home and will be given to a Drug Rehabilitation Program in Fairfield County.
