Beatrice Walcoff Obituary

Beatrice Walcoff

Asheville - Beatrice Slavin Walcoff, 92, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center.

Mrs. Walcoff was a native of Russia and of the Jewish Faith.

She was a daughter of the late Israel and Louise Rheingold Slavin and wife of the late Walter Walcoff and was also preceded in death by her sister, Belle Yurman.

Surviving are her sons, Ed Walcoff and wife, Margaret of Asheville and George Walcoff of New Mexico; granddaughter, Jennifer Walcoff; great granddaughter, Peyton Walcoff; sister, Millie Slavin of Los Angeles, CA; nephews, David Yurman and wife Faith (Seth & Scott) and Robert Yurman and wife Pat (Rebecca & Katie) all of Georgia.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
