Britt Amos Obituary
Asheville - Jonathan Britt Amos, 32, of Asheville, died Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Britt was born in Buncombe Co. He was a graduate of Asheville High School, where he played on the football and baseball teams. He also served as assistant football coach at Asheville High. He graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in criminal justice, and worked as a deputy clerk in the Buncombe County District Court.
Britt is survived by his parents, Timothy F. Amos and Marcia Anne Britt; brother, Jared Amos (Snow Sherrill); niece, India Amos; paternal grandfather, Frank Amos; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Lewis Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Buncombe Co. Humane Society, 16 Forever Faithful Lane, Asheville, NC 28806.

I just talked to him on Skype Sunday afternoon.He loved his Panthers more then anything and was one special guy to many Internet friends.I will miss the Skype calls talking about sports.He was great at his knowledge of all sports would always be right.I am heartbroken losing my friend John The Famous guy I never met in person.Watch over us all brother we all love and miss you.Thanks for asking my opinion on the trade ideas.!To your family thanks for giving us the opportunity to know such a kind,wonderful,caring guy.I am very sorry for the loss of your son,brother,and family member.Your friend forever!Mike
