In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing.
Aunt Hope, I loved you very much ..

I will never forget Hope and will always cherish my days growing up across the street for the Ryan family in Asheville. My thoughts are with you Lisa and Mark and your families. I would love to catch up with the New Jersey Wiseman's, too. Please know I am thinking of you all at this time.

Mrs. Ryan was a delight in Kenilworth when I was growing up there.
She hosted many neighborhood kids in art classes and regaled us with good stories. I always think of her as a storyteller who happened to also be an artist and a mom. Blessings on her and her family.

Hope was a candle in many of our lives. I have had the privilege to know Hope for quite a few years and never once did she not warm my heart nor bring a smile to my face. Her joy was contagious. That warmth radiated to everyone she came in contact with. Never was there a stranger in her presence. She loved deeply and was loved deeply by many of us. Hope will be missed greatly by me--with love Carl

Even though I met Hope shortly before her 90th birthday, she was still a vibrant person with an intellect that wouldn't quit. She loved to read and discuss things she had read. Her whole face lit up when she smiled. What a wonderful lady.
