Howard Pearson Obituary
Asheville - Howard Pearson, age 77, of Asheville died Monday, June 17, 2013.
Mr. Pearson was born January 31, 1936. He was a locally known watercolor artist specializing in scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Irene Pearson.
Left to cherish his memory are cousins, Lisa Campbell of California and Kenneth Sowa of Washington state; friends of 35 years, Louie Wiklacz and Ray Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; many friends, neighbors, artists, and business associates.
His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, at Sky View Memorial Park, 25 Skyview Park Drive, Asheville, with Rev. Gary Coffey officiating.
Memorials in his memory may be made to: Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, 717 South Marshall St., Suite 105B, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
