Junia Moore Obituary

JUNIA GIBSON MOORE

HAYESVILLE - Junia Gibson Moore, 76, of Hayesville, died Saturday, August 25, 2012. A native of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Vaughn and Ruby Eller Gibson.

Junia spent many years as a hairdresser and later opened and operated Moore's Flowers in Hayesville. She was a member of Truett Memorial First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Rita Thomas of Hayesville, and Susan Gaddy and her husband, Dan, of Clyde, N.C.; three grandchildren, Michelle Lakey and her husband, Sean, of Rabun Gap, Ga., Jeremiah Gaddy of Johnson City, Tenn., and Jessica Gaddy Carter and her husband, Steven, of Daphne, Ala.; a brother, Hayes Gibson and his wife, Teresa, of Hayesville. Junia was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Moore and a brother, Howard Gibson.

A Memorial service and joyous celebration of the life of Junia Moore will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Truett Memorial First Baptist Church in Hayesville. In honor of her love of music, accompanist Balfour Knight will lead the service with piano and harp in joyous celebration with special music provided by Dobbin Garrett, Dennis Myers, Johnny Foster and Susan Gaddy. The Rev. Johnny Foster and Rev. Dan Gaddy will officiate.

Condolences to special members of A best friend for many years. Junia and I were best friends and neighbors during our teen years and enjoyed the years that our children were able to grow up together. Also teaching her grandchildren . Girls and grandchildren-she is enjoying her reunion with Ed.,and with friends who are rejoicing today. GOD IS GOOD and has blessed you with a special Mother.
