Mabel Ellison Obituary
Ellison
Asheville - Mabel "Snooks" Ellison, 84, of Asheville, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Rena Roberts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Willis Ellison and Frank Fisher; sons, Willis, Jr. and James Robert; sister, Anne Lee Young; grandson, Jason Ellison and great grandson, Brandon Taylor Hensley.
Mabel is survived by her children, Paul (Diane) Ellison, John, Sr. (Pam) Ellison, Charles, Sr. (Darlene) Ellison, Deborah (Ray) Cook, Cheryl (Ronnie) Parker and Michael Ellison; grandchildren, Regina, Chris, Janet, Lisa, John Jr., Josh and Charles Jr., Tracy, Heather, Tammy, Steve, Angel, Bobbie Lynn, Danielle and Amanda; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and beloved dog, Sweetie.
The family will receive friends on Monday (today) from 6-8PM at Newfound Baptist Church in Leicester. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM at Newfound Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 10th with Revs. Charles Phillips and Woody Dillingham officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made care of Debbie Cook, 224 Newbury Circle, Westminster, SC 29693.
