Candler - Mary Ruth McElrath McFalls, 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at John F. Keever Solace Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the perpetual care of Hice Hill Cemetery, c/o Sandra Johnson, 145 Dogwood Road, Candler, NC 28715.

I enjoyed the times that I got to see Mary Ruth and
Jack. They were such a special couple and I know they are happy to be together again. God Bless all of her family. Our prayers are with you!

I knew Mary Ruth for a very short time! But, she was one sweet, nice, and kind lady! Praying for the family!

Today we are fondly remembering Mary Ruth. She was a wonderful neighbor and sweet friend. For over thirty years she watched our family grow up, always asking how everyone was and what they were up to. Bryson Road has not been the same without her sweet husband Jack and now Mary Ruth. What a wonderful heavenly reunion she and her beloved Jack must have had. Our prayers go out to Russell, her pride and joy. Praying also of course, for Anna and the grandchildren / great-grandchildren. Mary Ruth..... say hello to my Daddy, he and Jack will be sitting on a bench somewhere talking.
