I am so sorry . My heart goes out to the family. I knew "Skeet " and Diane from church at Oak Forest and grew to love them so much. God has gained a good man. I send prayers to all and my heartfelt sympathy.

Skeets was a permanent figure in my memories
of WLOS-TV. Our mutual interest in Asheville, and photography formed much of the basis of our friendship. He will be missed and well remembered

I did not know Skeet, but was in Richard's class of '63 at Lee Edwards--classes and homeroom. I was/am sorry to read about his passing and am praying for his family and friends.

Skeets Plemmons will always remain a calm and considerate presence in the memories of those who met him for a moment, or knew him for years. In the speed and chatter of broadcast television, he was the man who made time to speak to you, ask questions about you, your family, share a story or two about hobbies, and part with a smile. When asked, his advice was precious, and valuable. His faith was deep and knowledgeable. As a Boy Scout leader, he was a true example of the Oath; physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. -Sherrill Barber

Skeeter I am so sorry to hear of you leaving us so soon.Although we were cousins we didn't get a chance to spend time together since I moved away from the area. We had such good times in high school and we both worked at WLOS. R.I
P. my dear cousin you will be missed and I will cherish the beautiful pictures you made of my daughter. To his family my deepest sympathies.
