Rose, I am so sorry about Mike. We were all trying to go to the funeral Johnny and I.You know how much I love you. We were so close as teenagers and boy did we have fun. I miss you so. After Aaron passed I guess I have just never been the same but my heart is always with you and your boys. I do not know why God allows these things to happen to us but I trust him and do realize that he does allow these passing for a reason we will know soon. life goes by so fast now that it will not be long before we ourselves will be with OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. Just think Moma and Margaret, Aaron, Daddy , Elaine and now Mike are walking those streets of gold. I love you and your boys with all my heart. love Marlene Freeman

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I was a first cousin. My Dad (Al) and Mike's Dad (Vincent) were brothers. My heart goes out to all the family for such a great loss. May God bless and comfort all in a very special way.

To the family of Mike Dixon: I was shocked and saddened when I went to work and learned of Mike's passsing. We usually went in about the same time and always talked and joked and became good friends. I miss seeing him everyday. He was a "dandy."

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Rose,Steven and Jan,
There are no words to express the pain I know you all are feeling. Mike filled so many rolls, Father,Friend,Husband and many more so just to say he will be missed is I am sure an understatement. I did not really know Mike as a older man. My years that I spent with Mike and Tiffany were the young ones. He loved your Mother with the passion of a young man. We would drive up the mountain where he lived in what I still call the coolest house in the world a " A framed chalet" They were so beautiful and happy in those days that the closer we would get to the house the more excited Tiffany would become.
After the wedding was the truely most eventful moment. The birth of you guys. The love that was felt for you guys is something you will only know when you have your own children. The love in that room was felt by all.
I am sure your Mother can tell this so much better than I but the first thing I thought of after hearing of the passing of Mike was " he didn't get to see his grandchildren, he will miss so much it just does not seem right. Thank goodness God does not make mistakes! I live by that and also "TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD"
I love you all and Rose you have always been my role-model as a women and as a Christian as well as your mother. My prayer is that Steven and Jan will follow their father in the dreams of his youth to be a Godly husband and Father and give the love that he as a young father and husband gave to his family. I love you all!!
God be with you and comfort your hearts. SHARON<3
