Phyllis Branch Obituary
ASHEVILLE - Phyllis Dale Branch, age 77, of Asheville entered into heaven Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
Phyllis was born May 11, 1937, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1966. She was formerly employed at Mills Manufacturing Company. Phyllis loved flea marketing with many special friends. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lourie Stanley Capps and was also preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers and former husband Arthur Branch.
Surviving are her son, Keith Branch; daughters, Kathy Branch, Peggy Moore and husband Scott, Glenda Chandler, Debbie Briggs, Kimberly McElreath and husband Raymon, and Karen Burke; sisters, Gladys Wilson and Emma Jean Capps; brothers, Walter Capps and wife Bonnie, Clarence Capps and wife Barbara, Boyd Capps and wife Vicki, and Floyd Capps and wife Joyce; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and long-time companion Adrian Jenkins.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Burial will be in Capps Family Cemetery, Herron Cove Road, Weaverville.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Flowers are welcome.
