Susan Maney Obituary
Asheville - Susan Farkas Maney, 71, of Asheville, NC passed away March 15, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Valentine and Kathleen Farkas. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Steve Farkas.
Susan is survived by a son, Chris Maney (Jane); sister, Katherine Smith of Mars Hill; brother, Alex Farkas of Wilmington, NC and a granddaughter, Carrie Maney.
The family will be in the fellowship hall of Beech Glen Baptist Church 1-3:00pm Saturday, March 17, 2018, for those who would like to stop by and visit. A private burial will follow, with Stanley Peek officiating.

We were the three "S's", Susie, Sandy, and Salley when cruising was the rage and we had wheels.
Susie was one of the most intelligent, endearing people I ever met, but so was her family.
Just to go back to 1965 and open the front door to the Farkas home. The welcome aroma of Hungarian goulash or stuffed cabbage greets you, then the warm welcome from Valentine & Kathleen.
Such memories are hard to forget. Susie was a dear friend and will be missed.

Just to go back to opening that door in Valentine and Kathleen's house and catching a whiff of the goulash and the greetings from a warm, boisterous family.
Those were the days. The world will be a different place without her.
