Timothy Wright Obituary
Swannanoa - Timothy Owen Wright, 55, of Swannanoa, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 25 at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.
Tim was born January 20, 1960 in Asheville, NC and was a lifelong resident of the Swannanoa Valley. "He was a welder, mechanic, contractor, and a work of art." Tim never met a stranger and leaves behind many friends in the Valley. As his niece described him, "Tim spent his life living through experiences instead of only obligations, why else would a grown man build an incredible playground in his backyard when he didn't have any children of his own at the time?" That pretty much sums up Tim and his love of adventure and life.
He is survived by his son, Jesse Wright, Ridgecrest; his mother, Barbara Wright, Swannanoa; three brothers, Terry Wright (Kathy), Canton; Tommy Wright, Old Fort; Tony Wright (Laura), Bonney Lake, Washington; three sisters, Debbie Boley (Jerry), Garner, NC; Yvonne Miskolczi (Dave), Cedar Park, Texas; and Tracy Martin (Ben), Pinehurst, NC. His nieces and nephews include, Gary Wright, Stephanie Trunk, Rhiannon Jones, Muriel Jerde, Ashley Wright, Sarah Wright, Lauren Hudson, Nathan Wright, Jason and Steven Miskolczi, and Cody and Tyler Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Wright and his younger brother, Stephen; as well as his grandparents, Lewis and Annie Mae Reece and Corbett and Louise Wright and his nephew, James David Wright.
A gathering of family and friends will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday March 1, 2015 at Wilson Family Funeral Service in Black Mountain. In accordance with Tim's wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest at a later date beside his father in the family cemetery in Canton, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of your love and sympathy, the family request that donations be mailed to Edward Jones, 2358 US 70 Suite C, Swannanoa, NC 28778 to the attention of Mrs. Pamela Tegge.

Jesse, I am so sorry about the loss of your dad. I only met him a few times (thru Jesse C when the two of you would get together). I enjoyed talking with him, a very interesting man. I am so very sorry.

I remember years ago Tim , John Claybrook , and me went sky diving . We didn't tell him where we were going until we were almost at the air port in SC , Tim clucked like a chicken and said I aint jumin out of no plane lol well he did and we talked about it several times and laughed , You and John are both gone now my friend but never forgotten , God rest your soul my friend .....
