Anthony J. "Tony" Beauregard, 39, of Dallas, was called home to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021.
Born in Scranton on April 30, 1982, Tony was the son of Allen Beauregard and the late Donna Francis Rabiega. Residing most of his life in Avoca, Tony was a 2000 graduate of Pittston Area. He was a small business owner, idealist, football fanatic, adventure-seeker, travel enthusiast and all-around great guy.
Always smiling and willing to lend a helping hand, Tony never turned down a friend, family member or even a stranger in need.
A good man, loving father, and a great friend, Tony had a significant impact on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will always be remembered for his good-hearted nature, mischievous smile, hearty laugh and childish sense of humor. The world is now a little dimmer and slightly colder, because the light of our dear friend and brother has been extinguished.
Tony is survived by his father, Allen Beauregard, Henrietta, N.Y.; brother, Michael Beauregard and his wife Krystle, Jefferson Twp.; sons, Anthony J. Beauregard Jr., Exeter; and Jacob E. Beauregard, Scranton; uncles, Mark Beauregard and his wife Sandy, Hopkinton, Mass,; Kevin Beauregard and his wife Sara, Edinburgh, Scotland; Scot Beauregard and his wife Sydney, Houston, Texas; Wesley Francis, Scranton; and John Francis, Old Forge; aunt, Margaret "Peggy" Moran, Avoca; and many cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Helen Francis, Avoca; mother, Donna Francis Rabiega, Avoca; uncle, Edward Francis, Berwick; and cousin, Sean Beauregard, Edinburgh, Scotland.
A service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a GoFundMe webpage that has been set up on behalf of the family to cover the costs of the memorial service. The Fund will also be used to set up 529© college savings accounts for Tony Jr. and Jacob.
Condolences can be left at the funeral home's website, Howelllussi.com.
