Anthony Truskowski Obituary
He was born in Wyoming on May 7, 1942, and was the son of the late Anthony R. Truskowski Sr. and Ruth (Nienus) Truskowski.
Anthony was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School. Throughout his life he was self-employed in the garment industry. Tony was an auto racing enthusiast and competed in several drag racing events both locally and nationally.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Linda (Nayavich) Truskowski; his children, Tony, White Haven; Lonnie and his wife, Carol, Wilkes-Barre; and daughter, Ashley, Yatesville. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Julian and Liam Truskowski; brothers, Jack and his wife, Mary Ann, and Daniel and his wife, Carol; his sister, Janet Moll; and several nieces and nephews.
A Blessing service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with Deacon Jim Rose of Queen of the Apostles Parish, Avoca, officiating. Friends may call for visitation from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612, or to the SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
