Beverly A. Bernaskas, 83, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Strubeck Wallace and was a graduate of the Pittston High School, Class of 1956.
Over the years she was a member of the West Pittston Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and most recently belonged to the Moosic Alliance Community Church.
Beverly worked in Laurie Dress in Pittston, and Topps in Duryea. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt to many.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her Husband, Albert Bernaskas in 2019; son, Ronnie Coolbaugh; brothers, Carl and Wayne Wallace; and great-granddaughter, Kristabelle Culler.
Beverly is survived by her sons, William (Jennifer) Coolbaugh and Duane "Fig" (Adrienne) Coolbaugh; sisters, Nancy Liskosky and Helen Mesaros (James); nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave. West Pittston. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Dallas following the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Beverly's name.

Dear Bill, Dwayne & Family, My deepest condulance in loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful caring giving person, most of all she was a devoted follower of Jesus & shared the salvation message with all who she came in contact with, what a wonderful legacy she leaves, she loved to sing special music in church, and involved in many skits & special plays, which she was so good at, we had many good times together & i will miss her but will spend all of eternity with her &other loved ones. She celebrated Christmas with Jesus our Lord & Savior, how awesome!
