"You're only given one little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." - Robin Williams
Brian M. McFarland, 32, of Pittston, unexpectedly left this world Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 11, 1988, he was the son of James J. McFarland and Ann C. Stiliha McFarland.
He was a 2006 graduate of Seton Catholic High School.
Brian's eccentric personality served him well for many years in the customer service industry. Most recently he was employed by Springhill Suites by Marriott, Moosic.
Brian loved music, art and adventure. He was always willing to talk if someone needed and was no stranger to shenanigans. Brian danced to the beat of his own drum, and anyone who was lucky enough to know him in this life was surely impacted in some way.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Victoria Stiliha; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary McFarland; and an infant brother, Brendan McFarland.
Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his siblings, Michael and Lindsay McFarland, Pittston Twp.; and Bridget and Randy Deeble, Pittston. "Uncle Bee" will forever be missed by his nephew and nieces, Crosby and Chelsea McFarland; and Charlie and Randi Deeble.
In accordance with Brian's wishes, there will be no services. Please continue to share stories, say his name and keep his memory alive.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Stephen's Outreach, Wilkes-Barre or to the SPCA of Luzerne County.
"Like a ship blown from its mooring;
By a wind off the sea;
Like a seed dropped by a sky bird in a distant wood;
Who can say if I've been changes for the better;
But because I knew you;
I have been changed for good."
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston. To leave a condolence, visit Brian's obituary at www.adoniziofuneralhome.com.
