Claire Romanchick Obituary
Claire "Cathy" Romanchick, 64, of Creekside Nursing Home, Carbondale, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Claire Bielewski Romanchick. She attended Throop High School.
She was an avid Penn State fan and loved being on Facebook, keeping in touch with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Carey, in 2015; granddaughter, Megan Drozdick, in 2007; sisters, Rose Bronson, Barbara James, Agnes Miller, Julie Lisko; brother, Michael Romanchick.
Cathy is survived by her son, Greg Murray and his wife, Erin, Trucksville; daughter, Miranda Romanchick, Carbondale; seven grandchildren; sisters, Antionette Rocco, Throop; and Marie Derenick, Carbondale; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to service time. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
