Clara Gryziec Obituary
She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Huntington Mills, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Aurelia Kochinski Dluzeski.
Clara was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and a member of the Hunlock Creek Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary.
She enjoyed baking, gardening and reading and enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Pearl Race and her husband, Rodney, Noxen; Kathryn Johnson and her husband, William, Kingston; and son, Stanley and his wife, Karen, Windsor, Colo.; grandchildren, Catherine Stefanowicz and husband, Keith, Sweet Valley; Rhonda Darko and husband, George, Noxen; Dr. Jonathan Johnson, Rehoboth Beach, Del.; Josh Gryziec, Windsor, Colo.; and Angela Gryziec, Huntington Mills; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Stefanowicz and George Darko; sisters, Marina Martini, Falls Church, Va.; and Theresa Viti, Allentown; brothers, Edward, Rhode Island; Raymond, Huntington Mills.
She was preceded in death in 2001 by her husband, Stanley, having celebrated 59 years of marriage; and sister, Pearl Ftorkowski; brothers, Felix, Henry and Stanley Dluzeski.
The family wishes to thank Mercy Center for the special care given to their mother.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Mercy Center, Dallas.
Arrangements are by Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoyt Library c/o Children Library, 284 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.

Although I didn't know Clara, I do know the pain and sorrow death brings to families. And from the many visitors on her guestbook, you can tell she was a remarkable person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The Bible assures us God is healing the broken hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I am lucky enough to remember your Mom at her peak, when you lived in Hunlocks Creek in that wonderful house where she washed the windows because I was going to visit.
