Conner Jacob Lucas, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Feb. 16, 2009, he was the son of Laura Lucas, of Pittston. Conner just completed the sixth grade in the School District of Lancaster's Pediatric Specialty Care on-site classroom (Ms. Faith's class). He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, head rubs and being around people.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pediatric Specialty Care for the care that they provided for Conner during his time there.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Lucas; Nancy Ann Clarke; Barbara Lucas.
Surviving are his mother, Laura Lucas; brother, Tyler Lucas; grandfather, Richard McAfee; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Conner and his bubbly personality and infectious smile will be loved and deeply missed by all!
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. by Monsignor John Sempa, pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston. Visitation will continue until 4 p.m.

I never had the privilege to meet Conner, but he had been slated to be part of our classroom at Jackson Middle School this past school year. I am so sorry for your loss, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. You have my deepest condolences.
