Connie Breining Obituary

Connie R. Breining, 75, of Shavertown, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday morning, Sept. 27, 2016.

Born in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mamie Rupert Seewald. Connie was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She was formerly employed by Commonwealth Telephone as a switchboard operator for more than 30 years.

Connie loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved the warm weather, lying in the sun, the Jersey beaches and, of course, her cold beers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Darin, and brother, Tom.

Surviving are her daughters, Crystal Kravits and husband, Mark, Shavertown; and Colleen Breining, Wyoming; grandchildren, Kyleigh and Kade; and several nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of family, with interment in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.

Colleen, I am so sorry to hear! My heart goes out to you in this sudden shock. No doubt lots of folks ask what they can do to help. I would ask the same question but I suspect the answer would be the one thing that can not be done and I am so sorry for that and your loss.
