Edward Emmett, 81, of Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1941, he was the son of the late William and Edith Hambly Emmett. A life resident of Plymouth Borough, he attended Plymouth schools. Prior to retirement, Ed worked at Mount Airy Lodge and prior to that, he was employed by Hobart Corporation and his own business, T & E Trucking.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV, his dog Rusty and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Patricia Mikina; and brothers, Donald, Frederick, William, Richard and Robert Emmett.
He is survived by his loving children, Patricia Farrell (Rich Hricenak), Plymouth; and Edward M. Emmett (Lela), Plymouth; grandchildren, John and Michael Moran; brother-in-law, Thomas Teresavage, Wilkes-Barre; many nieces and nephews and extended family who loved him.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.
Arrangements are entrusted to S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.

My sincere condolences to the family. I will cherish all the memories our families had together. We had such great times on our vacations and at Lake Carey. Teddy will always be in our hearts. My kids adored their Poppy Emmett. I know my Dad was waiting with open arms to welcome his best friend to heaven.
