Eileen Savinski Obituary
Eileen Savinski, 81, formerly of Pittston, peacefully passed away, Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Highland Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Exeter.
Born in Swoyersville, she was the daughter of the late John Murtha Jr. and Florence McDonell Murtha. She was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Old Forge Dress.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sharae; grandson, Lamar; great-grandson, Xander; and great-grandson, Levi.
Eileen is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Alexander Savinski. She will be missed by her son, Thomas Smith, Florida; stepchildren, Linda Savinski, Wyoming; Susan Savinski, Pittston; Joanne Savinski, Swoyersville; Michele Reap and husband, Michael, West Wyoming; Lisa Yerka and husband, Anthony, Taylor; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The services will be private from Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
