Elaine Fath Obituary
Elaine F. Fath, 74, of Pittston died unexpectedly at home Friday afternoon, March 4, 2022, with her rosary beads in her hands, as they were every afternoon. She is at peace now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior and his Blessed Mother.
She was kind to everyone and never uttered an unkind word about anyone. She always saw the good in people.
Born Aug. 26, 1947, in West Pittston, she was the daughter of the late David C. Hoffner and Frances Bepersti Hoffner. Elaine was preceded in death by her son, Jeff, in 2018.
Elaine was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years , Jim. She will be sadly missed be her sons, Stephen and his fiancée, Kristen Price; Jimmy and his partner, Katie Alba; and David and his wife, Jennifer.
She was a proud nanny to her loving grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Cara, Adam, David Jr. and Chris Cortez. She absolutely loved them with her whole heart and soul. She cherished their hugs, kisses, chats and "I love you, Nannys."
Surviving Elaine also are her sister-in-law, Judy Fath; brothers-in-law, Bill and his wife, Toni; Michael and his wife Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A brother, David also survives.
Services and internment will be private under the direction of Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home.

Dear Jim and Family,
This news is beyond shocking to me and to our family. We send our deepest sympathy. I will always remember Elaine for her warmth, her smile, her laughter and the great conversations we had as young cousins. Truly, this is such a loss to our extended family.
