To the family of Dr. Gerfin. We are so saddened to hear about his passing. We had no idea until I just happened to read it on Facebook. Dr. Gerfin was a kind, caring doctor and wonderful friend to both my husband and myself. We will miss him for sure. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working as a caregiver for Nancy Gerfin. After she passed, Dr. Gerfin asked if I would stay on along with Sally and work for him. We had some good conversations about life. He was a very smart, knowledgeable man. May he Rest in Peace. My prayers for Dale, Nancy and their family. Donna Winnie

This man was so wonderful I remember I was going to him faithfully every month. Paying by check. I stopped going to him for 3 months. Then I went back. He told me that my last check had bounced. I said sorry and I would pay it in cash right now. He said ok. Then I went in the room and he asked what was going on with me. I explained my 4 year old son got hit by a car and had to get life flighted to Danville. After telling him all the details. He said that was your boy? I seen it on the news. I came out of the room and he ripped up the bounced check and said don’t worry about your last visit or this one. Go take care of your boy. He made my heart warm that day. Never have I ever came across a person so caring in my life. What a great, wonderful, man.
