James Taft Obituary
He was born Aug. 7, 1950, in Taylor Hospital.
He was the son of the late Burton Earl Taft Sr. and Mary Kozinsky Taft. He was employed by Alliance Landfill and later employed by Metz Culinary.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in the death by his brothers, Burton Earl Taft Jr., Richard Taft, Wade Taft; and a nephew, Brian Taft. He loved the outdoors and driving his tractors. He was a member of Dracula's Forest year after year. He was dedicated to his family which loved him very much. He would help anyone that he could, anytime.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann Taft; and his sons, James Taft Jr., William Taft and his wife, Teri Taft; Robert Taft, and Joseph Taft and his wife, Loreal Taft; and two remaining siblings, Karin Taft Strein and Paul Taft Sr.; and a grandson, Reilley James Taft.
Viewing for family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and it will be lead by the Rev. Mark, pastor from Countryside Community Church.
Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
Place of interment will be held in Milwaukee Cemetery, Clarks Summit.
