John Edward "Ski" Tilletski, 67, of Nanticoke, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, on June 28, 1956, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Martino Tilletski.
John served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy from October 1975 to October 1991. He was a veteran of the Gulf War, during which time he received many commendations. He was an avid pool player who enjoyed shooting darts with his family and friends. John donated much of his time to serve with the Glen Lyon VFW and the Nanticoke American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Lisa DeArment Tilletski; sons, Joseph Tilletski, Jason Tilletski and Justin Tilletski; grandchildren, Sophia and Liam; sisters, Mary Jo Resavy, Dorothy Wendol and Kathy Spelman; and several nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., Glen Lyon.

I will miss whenever I would come see him and he would sing me a little song every time I would come see him ever since I was a baby. I will miss those memories so much but I could never forget them!

Also worked in the VA with his son.
He always had so much energy.
