Joseph Borum Obituary
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Virginia Mooney Borum, Wilkes-Barre, and the late Joseph R. Borum.
J.B. was a graduate of GAR High School and was employed as a sheet metal worker with the Local Union 44.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark.
J.B. is survived by his children, Abbigail, Nicholas and Amy, all at home; mother, Virginia; sister, Karen Parcinski; nephew and niece, Michael and Kara Parcinski; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday from Harold C. Snowdon Home for Funerals Inc., 420 Wyoming Ave., Kingston. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
The Borum family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care of Celtic Hospice and Dr. Kelleher.

Playing a JV game on a Monday afternoon fall 1983, with no chance of winning we met in the defensive huddle to wait for JB to call the play....he said, "Play your own defense, ready Break!" That call has stuck with me all my life. I have shared that call with co-workers and friends, civilian and military and it always brought a laugh. I'm fortunate to have played and grown up with you.
