Joseph Elko Obituary
He was the son of the late Joseph and Verna Thomas Elko and a 1939 graduate of Plymouth High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and past commander of American Legion,Post 463 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1425. He retired from Balester Optical Co., Wilkes-Barre. He greatly enjoyed golfing.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Leonard Davis.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miriam Wychulis; sister, Ann Gondek, New Jersey; nieces and nephews.
Services will being held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Larksville Ambulance Co., 211 E. State St., Kingston, PA 18704.
