Josephine Frances Polinski, 91, of Pittston, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Wesley Village with her family at her side.
Born in Pittston on Feb. 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Concetta Barile Cordora.
Josephine was a graduate of Pittston High School and enjoyed socializing with her beloved classmates throughout her life. They were a source of joy and companionship that she cherished.
She was a retired dental and podiatric assistant and cared for many residents of the Pittston community. She stayed in touch with many of her longtime patients.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Polinski Sr., in 2002.
Surviving are her sons, Leonard J. Polinski Jr. and Mark A. Polinski.
Funeral services were entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Twp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Marello Parish, William St., Pittston. Officiate will be the Rev. Paul McDonnell O.S.J. Those who plan on attending are asked to go directly to church the morning of the funeral.
Interment will be private. Josephine will be laid to rest with her husband in St. Rocco's Cemetery, Pittston Twp.
