On Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, a beloved, kind, caring soul passed on at the age of 35.
Joshua John Bevan was the son of Tammy Rovine Coburn and the late John "Jack" Bevan. Josh graduated from Wyoming Valley West Senior High School in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA. Since then, his forever home was with his sidekick and brother, Jeremy Bevan.
Josh was extremely passionate about and often spent his time fishing, camping and rooting for his lifelong football team, The Miami Dolphins. Joshua was a bright, compassionate and loving individual. There was no doubt that Josh carried these characteristics down from his very best friend and grandmother all in one, Gina Bevan. With sadness in our hearts, she lost her life due to an illness in December 2020. Joshua also lost his grandma, Peggy, within the same week.
Josh was the one to light up the room with something as simple as a smile with any given circumstance. Not only was he an exceptional guy, he was as humorous as it got and would crack a joke at the drop of a dime. The loss of Joshua was a sudden matter, and with that being said, the pain will carry on forever and be felt by many, far and near. For one last heroic act, Joshua donated his kidneys to others who are in need.
Surviving are his mother, Tammy Coburn; stepfather, Ronald Coburn; son, Christopher; brother and sister, Jeremy Bevan and Abigale Coburn; grandfather, Richard Rovine; cousin, Gina Bevan; and aunts, Sandy Hutz and Sharon Height. Josh also had dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom cared and loved for him unconditionally.
Josh was proceeded in death by his father, John Bevan; sister, Kayla McGrady; grandmothers, Eugenia Bevan and Margaret Rovine; Grandfather, Fredrick Bevan; and his childhood dogs, Spike and Mere.
May God meet him with open arms and surround him with eternal love.
