Lois Miskin Obituary
Born April 2, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Elias Marrash and Sadie Morrash. She was a graduate of Meyers High School, Class of 1948.
She worked in the garment industry in the Wyoming Valley for many years and most recently as a foster grandparent at Dodson Elementary School, Wilkes-Barre.
She is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife, Diane Miskin, Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Peggy and her husband, Mark Lacey, Shavertown; granddaughters, Dana Miskin, Meredith Traube and Devin Lacey; sister, Ruth Gabriele, Wilkes-Barre; brother, John Marrash, Manheim; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sr.; sisters, Sue Walcavage, Helen Dennis, Mary Cavanaugh and Jenny Simon; and brothers, Norman and George Marrash.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be in St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
