Michael Basarab Obituary
Born June 5, 1942, in Plains Township, son of the late Michael Basarab and Irene (Stanovich) Basarab, he was a graduate of Plains High School, Class of 1960.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Melissa Basarab; grandson, Landon; and sister, Laverne Latzko.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Mikelski.
Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 S. Township Blvd., Pittston Township.
Viewing hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, with the Very Rev. David Shewczyk officiating.
Funeral services will be private and held at the family's convenience.
