Michael Feschak Obituary
Mr. Feschak was born July 2, 1947, in Kingston, a son of the late Michael and Jule Shatkus Feschak.
Raised in Pennsylvania, he was a 1965 graduate of St. John's High School in Pittston. Mike continued his education at Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, and received his bachelor's degree in accounting in 1969.
Mr. Feschak worked for HBD Industries, ultimately obtaining the role of chief financial officer, prior to retiring after over 35 years of service. While in Ohio, he worked as a chief financial officer for Youngstown Steel Door for several years.
In his free time, Mike enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing.
He is survived by his wife, the former Michaelene Kopacz, whom he married June 6, 1970; two sons, Michael Feschak III, Hong Kong; and Matthew (Christina) Feschak, Charleston, S.C.; two grandchildren, Nadiya and Mitchell; his sister, Barbara (Don) Tiskevics, The Colony, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of Michael's life will be held by the family.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Michael's name to Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44510 or by going to www.rescuemissionmv.org.
Arrangements are being handled by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, Ohio.
