Michael Snyder Obituary
Michael J. Snyder, 76, of Mountain Top, passed away at his home Monday, June 20, 2022.
He was born in Queens, N.Y., a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth O'Leary Snyder. Michael attended GAR Memorial High School. Michael proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement, Michael was self-employed as a mechanic. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Jo-ann Karchin Snyder, on Jan. 24, 2021; and by his sister, Patricia Roberts.
Surviving are his siblings, Donald Snyder, Flemington, N.J.; Catherine Lydon, Southbury, Conn.; and William Snyder, Hanover Twp.; stepsons, Dennis and David Karchin; and his nieces and nephews, Karyn Snyder Collins (Stephen), Donna Snyder, Christopher Roberts and Meagan Roberts Notari.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Entombment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
