Michael G. Soricelli, 75, of Exeter, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Rose Bone Soricelli.
Michael was a 1964 graduate of West Pittston High School and served in the National Guard.
He was self employed as a general contractor as Michael G. Soricelli General Contractors. He enjoyed spending time at the race track betting on horses. He also loved vacationing in Florida and driving his Shelby on the weekends.
Preceding him in death were his sister; Ann Marie Occhiato and her husband, Dominick.
Surviving are his son, Michael T. Soricelli and his fiancée, Jennifer Peters; and granddaughter, Nellie, Exeter.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gubbiotti Funeral Home LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish in Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. Monsignor John Sempa, pastor, will be celebrant.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton Road, Wyoming.
