Michael Zelinka Obituary
Michael J. Zelinka, 87, of Nuangola, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Michael J. and Frances Kasavage Zelinka. Michael was a 1955 graduate of St. Nicholas High School, and he received his associate's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. Prior to his retirement, Michael was employed for many years by the RCA Corp. in Mountain Top.
Michael is survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence E. Klosko Zelinka; brother, Leonard Zelinka and his wife, Helen, Mountain Top; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday in the Chapel of Holy Trinity Cemetery, Route 115, Bear Creek Twp. Deacon William Behm will officiate.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Tuesday.
