Pavel Pinkevich Obituary

Pavel Pinkevich, 74, lost his battle to cancer on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.

He was born March 15, 1938, in Ratno, Ukraine. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father and grandfather.

He lived most of his life in Ukraine and Belarus. In 1991, he moved to the United States with his wife, Olga, and five children.

He was an active member of the Russian Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his beloved family, his wife of 44 years, Olga Pinkevich; five children and six grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed. See you in heaven, daddy.

A private viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kielty-Moran Funeral Home, Plymouth.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Russian-Ukrainian Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, followed by the burial ceremony at Maple Hill Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.

Dear Masha, Andrew and you Elya and Stan we feel sorry for your loss of your beloved father and grandfather, but also happy for the ending of his suffering and knowing that he is in much better place where we can meet him later if we keep our faith in Jesus Christ.
