Ralph Hoover Obituary
Born Aug. 20, 1948, in Luzerne, a son of the late Clarence Sr. and Hannah Mallery Hoover, he was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.
Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.
Prior to retiring, he was employed by CertainTeed, Mountain Top.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene, in 1997.
Surviving are his wife, the former Barbara Hinz, Edwardsville; children, Brenda Hoover, Edwardsville; Ralph Jr., Kingston; and Kevin, Edwardsville; three grandchildren, Kristina, Zachary and Felicia; brothers and a sister, Clarence Jr., Luzerne; Richard, Wilkes-Barre; John, Swoyersville; and Elizabeth Reese, Swoyersville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Karl E. Blight Funeral Home, 392 Wyoming Ave., Kingston. The Rev. James C. Quinn will have a funeral service at 11 a.m. The interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.
