Reynold Thomas Obituary
Reynold Gordon Thomas, 88, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Nanticoke on Jan. 28, 1933, he was the son of the late Gordon Reynold Thomas and Daisy Trump Thomas, Nanticoke.
He graduated from Nanticoke High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retiring, he worked locally for many years mostly in the garment industry, some of which were Mcgregor, Harris-Hogan and Bravo.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and later the Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; and sisters, Mary Ras, Ruth Moyer, Daisy Root and Betty Margelewicz.
Surviving are his son, Gordon Thomas; along with daughter-in-law, Kelly Thomas; daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Oborski; granddaughters, Holly Ann Thomas; and Cathy Oborski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service with Pastor Tim Hall will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home, 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke.
