Richard R. Wojcik was born April 20, 1987, in Kingston, to Robert and Denise Devens Wojcik.
He graduated from Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, in 2005. Richard worked at Patte's Sports Bar before and after graduation, and he also worked for Harden's Improvements.
As a child Richard enjoyed playing the drums, playing baseball for North End Wilkes-Barre, learning karate, and playing manhunt with his neighborhood friends. Richard was an avid Jets fan, along with his dad. He always looked forward to enjoying summer cookouts and family vacations in Ocean City, Md.
In 2008, Richard joined the United States Marines Corp. He graduated May 9, 2008, in Paris Island, S.C., Platoon 3037. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C., where he resided with his wife, Meghan Galbraith, and their beautiful daughter, Reilly.
Richard found his passion in cutting hair with a straight edge razor. His challenging and unique designs was Adidas logo all the way down to Spider Man. In July of 2020, during a 48-hour hair cutting marathon, he used his trade to raise funds for two local families dealing with tragedy. Richard will always be remembered for his kindness towards others.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Veronica John; grandparents, Andrew and Louise Gulius; Frank and Stella Rynkiewicz; grandfathers, Thomas Wojcik Sr. and Steven Devens Sr.
Richard is survived by his wife, Meghan Galbraith; daughter, Reilly Wojcik; parents, Robert and Denise Devens Wojcik; brother, Ryan Wojcik; grandmothers, Stella Wojcik and Elizabeth Ann Devens; godparents, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Please join us in our celebration of life service to share our favorite memories, our stories, and remember a kind-hearted person, who is greatly missed. Friends may gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Final call is from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday followed by a noon service given by Monsignor Thomas Muldowney, both will be held at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Richard "The barber" Wojcik memorial fund, www.gofundme.com, proceeds will cover memorial cost and remaining donations will be put in a college fund for his daughter, Reilly Wojcik.

My deepest sympathy to the family. He cut my grandson Gage hair multiple times and Gage loved him. He also gave him a necklace. So kind hearted.
