Robert E. Kachurak, 74, of Edwardsville, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the Gardens of Wyoming Valley Nursing Facility.
He was born Oct. 3, 1949, in Larksville, and was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Young Kachurak.
Bob was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West, Class of 1968, and was formerly employed by Valley Crest and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital as a CNA and in environmental services.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert; sisters, Marie Eisinehower, Carol Cieczko and Donna Meyers; and brother, Joseph.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Germak Kachurak, Edwardsville; sons, Robert Kachurak and companion, Patricia Walton, Edwardsville; and Joshua Kachurak, Edwardsville; grandsons, Justin and Ryan; sisters, Patsy Hillard; Alice Fay Luibinski; JoAnn Yedinak; Pamela Yechmowicz; and brothers, David and Andrew.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Don Hartshorne officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to service time.

Dear Charlotte and family,
So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I met Bob (and Charlotte) working at General Hospital. Bob was a hard worker, and quite an intelligent man. I always enjoyed the conversation when he was around.
