This is a great loss to his family but knowing the memories he left behind will always be there. All of our 5 children remember his caring ways and unconditional positive regard for others. He was part of the staff of educators at Hanover at that time who embraced education as well as character to their students. Sympathy to his entire family and friends. The Irzinski Family

Charlene and Family, I´m so sorry to hear about Bob´s passing. The few times that I was with him, he was always hospitable and fun to be around. The salt of the Earth. It amazes me to think that we were both at Edinboro when he was a senior and I was a freshman, Bob, playing with the championship, football team, and me playing in the marching band at his games every Saturday during the season.
May God comfort you all and may Bob rest in peace.

To the Bob King family: I played on Coach King's 1974 Hanover Area football team and his 1975 UNICO team. I'll never forget his kindness and generosity. He allowed me to drive his light blue Porsche to other schools to pickup game films. He helped me to get into Edinboro for football and wrestling. He demanded the best from everyone and did it with a smile. My sympathy and prayers are offered to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We were friends since high school and then had the honor to be his co-worker for thirty some years. He was always a great friend and we had many good times and many laughs along the way. He was so proud of his boys and grandkids. Bob was a good man and I am better for having been his friend. God rest his soul.

I'm very saddened to hear of Bobs passing. Back in the early 90's Bob took a chance on me and was instrumental in me being hired as the girls' basketball head coach at Hanover Area. He showed me the ropes and became a true friend. I always enjoyed talking sports with Bob while having a few beers at Carlo's, The Big House, or Grottos! He recently checked in on me after a long period of not touching base with each other. Bob really cared about people, especially them Hawkeyes! The Blazick family extends their deepest sympathies to Bob's loved ones during this difficult time. Thanks Bob! Thanks for believing in a young aspiring coach like me who needed someone to teach him the ropes and look out for him! May your soul rest with those who dared to enter the arena!

Bob was a great man. He was All State in Football and Baseball. He played AAA for the Yankees and if not for a bum knee he would have made it. He loved to volunteer at the soup kitchen along with his sons. He will be greatly missed by all. As Bob would say " see ya on the other side "

So sad to hear about Bob´s passing. As one of the neighborhood, kids, Bob and I went through elementary, junior high and high school together. A great high school athlete! He excelled in football, wrestling and baseball. I know he will be missed by many of the Hanover Township high school alumni. RIP Hawkeye!
