Rosemary Evanish of Nanticoke passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Nanticoke, Rosemary was a daughter of the late Adam & Mary Koval Pietrzyk. Rosemary was a graduate of Nanticoke Area High School and achieved a bachelor degree in accounting from King's College. Rosemary was a member of St. Faustina Parish Nanticoke.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Evanish; and brother-in-law, Jack Grzymski.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Kerri Englert and Terence Walton; Kelli Techmanski and husband, Jason; and Robert Hermanofski; three stepdaughters, Kelly Spudis, Karen Evanish and Heather Wingert; grandson, Brendin Techmanski; three sisters, Shirley Grzymski, Bernie Pietrzyk and Carol Belovesick and husband Jack; god daughter, Kacie Skutnik; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Faustina Parish, Hanover Street, Nanticoke. Rosemary will be laid to rest in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke. Funeral arrangements were made by Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., Nanticoke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke.
