Sheldon Arnold Obituary
Sheldon Arnold, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
He was born in Dallas, the son of the late Elmer William "Bill" and Mary Arnold and the late Margaret L. Florek. Sheldon was a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was an active member of the American Legion Ashley Post 673. Sheldon was an avid hunter and loved to fish, especially with his dog, Lucy.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer William Arnold Jr. and Jim Patton.
Surviving are his sons, Stephen, Scott and Joshua Arnold; wife, Kimberly Gonda Arnold; and siblings, Jacqueline Stewart, Camille Arnold, Camden Arnold, Jennifer Kupiec Trush, Lori Patton, David Patton, Mike Patton, Percy MacMillan, Joe MacMillan, Lynn MacMillan, Lou MacMillan, Edward MacMillan and Chris Zacharias.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, from Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with Deacon William Behm officiating.
Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.
The family requests that everyone attending the visitation and funeral service wear a mask.
