Stephen Lesko Obituary

Stephen Lesko of Nanticoke died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 28, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Hanover Twp., son of the late Stephen and Anna Boback Lesko, a graduate of Nanticoke High School, he resided in the area most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theresa Duzinski, in 2006; a son, Robert; and a sister, Dorothy Phillips.

Surviving are a son, a daughter and two grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann and Jim Oram, Nanticoke; his companion of several years and high school sweetheart, Barbara J. Mack; and her family, Jeri Ann Mack and Carla Mack.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA.

Arrangements are by Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

Please know that our prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Joyce and I had many good times with Steve and Theresa when we lived in Springbrook. Steve taught me how to fish and make brandy. I will always remember him fondly.
