Vincent P. Madl, 60, of Nanticoke, passed peacefully into eternal life to join his dad, on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at Residential Hospice, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, with his sister and niece at his side.
Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of Rose Madl and the late George Madl. Vincent was a graduate of Greater Nanticoke High School. He enjoyed playing baseball throughout his school years. He was employed by Nicholson in Wilkes-Barre, until its closing, Evans & Daniels for 12 years and then Legett & Platt.
Vince was a proud uncle who enjoyed spending quality time with his nieces and nephews. He was the "fun" uncle in their eyes. He enjoyed bike riding, was an avid bowler and was part of a bowling league with his circle of friends. He also enjoyed watching "Big Brother" and discussing in great detail with his nieces who they thought would win.
Vince had the biggest heart. He was always there for anyone in their time of need.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories are his mother, Rose; brothers, George (Patty) and Jim (the late Sherri); sister, Cathy (Joe) Lushefski; nephews, Christopher (Amy), Andrew, Jim Jr. (Ashley), Patrick and Scott Madl; nieces, Melissa Madl, Shannon (Dean) Alger, Carissa (Tony) Chianese, Kelcie and Keri Lushefski; great-nephew, Blake Madl; and great-nieces, Mariyah Madl and Kenna Chianese.
He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed.
