Wayne Grodzicki, 55, of Nanticoke, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
Born May 7, 1968, in Nanticoke, Wayne was the son of the late Leonard and Ruth Chetaitis Grodzicki. Wayne was a graduate of Nanticoke Area High School, Class of 1988. Wayne was last employed by Luzerne County Community College in the custodial department.
Wayne was proceeded in death by his father and mother; eldest brother, Dale and wife, Sandy; infant brother, John; and beloved dog, Whitey.
Wayne was an avid sports fan, and a die hard Phillies and Steelers fan. He loved all and will be loved and missed by all.
Wayne is survived by his brothers, James and his wife, Susan; brothers, Robert and Joseph; twin sister, Sandra Grodzicki Glowaniak and husband, John; and sister, Leslie, all from Nanticoke.
Will be loved and missed deeply by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday. Family and friends May call from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke.
